Avery Teplow, one of Kageno’s newest interns, is committed to bridging the gap between what the world currently is and what it can be.
Avery’s involvement in the non-profit world began at the age of 16, when he ran a basketball tournament that raised thousands of dollars for the bone marrow foundation, “Gift of Life.” Since that date, Avery has led a vast array of charity projects (including bake offs, jewelry selling campaigns) that brought in proceeds anywhere between $200 and $8000 for very deserving causes.
Through the active participation of young adults in the charity community, Avery hopes to see the invalidation of the stereotype that adolescence is a time when teenagers rebel and remove themselves from society. Avery is looking forward to continuing his efforts in the fall when he starts college at Binghamton University.
We are greatful for Avery's help and look forward to working with this inspiring young man.
